Welcome to Tikkerpower!

By downloading, accessing, or using the Tikkerpower app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

1. Health & Safety (The Walking Rule)

Tikkerpower is designed to encourage physical movement and walking. By using the App, you agree that you are solely responsible for your own safety.
● You agree to remain aware of your physical surroundings at all times while walking.
● You agree not to use the App in unsafe environments, near traffic, or in any situation where distraction could cause injury or death.
● The developers of Tikkerpower assume no liability for any personal injury, property damage, or accidents that occur while you are using the App.

2. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Zero Tolerance Policy

Tikkerpower allows users to upload background images (specifically, photos of cats and dogs) to a shared community database. We maintain a strict, zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.
By uploading any image, you agree that you will not upload content that:
● Is sexually explicit, NSFW (Not Safe For Work), or contains nudity.
● Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal acts.
● Contains hate speech, harassment, bullying, or discrimination.
● Infringes on the intellectual property, copyright, or privacy rights of others.

3. Moderation, Flagging, and Blocking

To maintain a safe community, Tikkerpower utilizes both automated AI moderation and human review.
● Flagging: Users can flag or report any inappropriate image directly within the App.
● Blocking: Users can permanently block other users. Once blocked, you will no longer see any content uploaded by that specific user.
● Review: Our moderation team will review flagged content within 24 hours. We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion without prior notice.

4. Content Licensing & Ownership

You retain ownership of the photos you upload to Tikkerpower. However, by uploading an image, you grant Tikkerpower a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, display, modify (including pixelating and sharpening), and distribute that image to other users within the App. You warrant that you have the right and authority to grant this license for any image you upload.

5. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason. Violations of our UGC policy (such as uploading inappropriate or offensive content) will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Tikkerpower tracks your physical movement (via your device's pedometer) to facilitate the core game mechanic. We do not track your GPS location. For full details on how we collect, store, and protect your data, please review our

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Privacy Policy

At Tikkerpower, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the information necessary to provide and improve the Tikkerpower experience.
● Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a secure password. We use this to authenticate your account and save your progress.
● Motion and Fitness Data: To enable our core gameplay mechanic, the App requests
access to your device's pedometer (Motion & Fitness sensors). We track your step count and walking rhythm locally while your screen is locked. We do not track, collect, or store your GPS location.
● User-Generated Content: If you choose to upload background images (e.g., photos of your pets) to the shared database, we collect and store those images.
● Usage Data: We may collect automatically generated data about how you interact with the App (such as levels completed or features used) to help us identify bugs and
improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:
● Create and manage your account.
● Calculate your walking progress to upgrade your pixelated images.
● Display the pet photos you upload to other users within the App.
● Enforce our Terms and Conditions (e.g., moderating flagged images or blocking abusive accounts).
● Provide user support and respond to your inquiries.

3. Third-Party Services

Tikkerpower uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. The primary service provider we use is Google Firebase (including Firebase Authentication, Firestore Database, and Cloud Storage) to securely host our database, process image uploads, and manage user logins. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information only as long as you have an active account. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time.
● In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the App by navigating to the User, selecting "Delete Account," and confirming the action.
● Upon deletion, your email, password, and personal progression data are immediately removed from our active databases.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures (such as secure Firebase cloud infrastructure) to help protect your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Tikkerpower is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
